Alviso Boat Ramp

Posted by
Chris Pereira (San Francisco, California, United States) on 29 June 2010 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

some 10 years in the making (government is slow).

the San Jose Mercury News thought this was the best thing since sliced bread. Read the article here.

The San Jose Mercury News says it could handle 30 foot vessels, we have a 27' Santana Sailboat and we wouldn't dare sail it in Alviso. (hell we have a 13' Flying Junior racing sailboat, the channel just isn't big enough for it). The way I see it is it's basically a 2 million dollar dock for kayaks and canoes.

(silly tuesday-ish)

We will go in, soon
We’ll pass this ramp into the waters
Sailing some place we might know
Around that corner,
Pass the bushes and towards the shores
We will go in, just not yet
